In the wake of devastating cyclones in coastal districts, the Dushtha Shasthya Kendra has launched the ‘Survival Assistant for Cyclone-Affected Families in the Coastal (SARA)’ project. This initiative, operating under the DSK-CAID-REMAL Response Project, aims to provide crucial aid to families grappling with the aftermath of natural disasters.

OInternational Training Network Centre of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (ITN-BUET) and Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK), have officially signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) on 4th December, 2024 at ITN-BUET, Dhaka. The signing ceremony took place in presence of Dr. Dibalok Singha, Executive Director (DSK) and Professor Dr. Tanvir Ahmed, Director (ITN-BUET). Alauddin Ahmed, Project Manager of ITN-BUET, Asef Mohammad Redwan, PhD, Technology & Knowledge Management Specialist of ITN-BUET, Subrata Paul, Training Specialist of ITN-BUET; Md. Abdul Hakim, Director of WASH of DSK, Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Head of Research and Documentation Cell of DSK, S. M. Tareq Bin Jamil Neoaz, Assistant Director (Engineer) of DSK, Md. Bokhtiar Rahman, Research Assistant of DSK were also present in the event. 

On behalf of DSK, Md. Reyazul Islam (Deputy Director) and Feroz Kabir (Area Manager, Chattogram-4) presented a donation letter amounting to 3,384,000 BDT for 1,128 individuals affected by the recent floods to the honorable Upazila Executive Officer, Mahfuza Jerin, in Mirsarai on September 24, 2024. Upon reviewing the letter and accompanying list, she expressed her satisfaction, commending our management with the words, “Salute and thank you for your cash contribution.”
